What's your favorite house music record label & what is your favorite release from that label to date. Be it deep, funky, soulful & electro house labels..

One of my all time favorite house music labels has got to be www.naked-music.com founded by a guy called Jay Denes in 1997. This label has produced some top qulaity releases. One of my favorite being from the Bare Essentials Volume 1 - Track entitled Blue Six - Music & Wine (Th'Attaboy Vocal) PLAY Sample

sweet to my soul Cool

Whats your favorite house label & what you think was the best release from that label?

Kinky Vinyl. Some real classics on there, and still putting out some serious wonkiness on the sly!

At the moment, I'm favouring the various labels under the shelter unbrella, also the releases on king street & nitegrooves of late are floating my boat.

some good releases on purplemusic last year and earlier this year along with stuff that comes out on defected and their various associates

I've always been a fan of various labels that fall out of the Soulfuic camp too

It's far too difficult to pick one in paticular

Gotta say Strictly Rhythm from the vaults, as well as DJ International and Trax...(way too difficult to choose so few)!

Right now, I gotta give props to Defected and everything they're doing!

Oh yeah, I might as well throw in our label...DigitalVinylRecordings.com! Cool

Objektivity, Real Tone Records, Un-Restricted Access, Connected Music, Ibadan Records, Tonality, City Deep Music, Philpot, Next Moov, Blacksoul, Seasons Limited, Earthumental Music, NiteGrooves, King Street Sounds, Soulfuric, Tony Records, Movin Records, Blaze Imprints! If you have at least one off of each of these in your set, it is guaranteed to have some deep appeal. These labels have been really puttin out the deepness on a REGULAR basis. Objektivity being the one of the hottest things out there. Dennis Ferrer is seriously bringin it!

Love and Peace

A great selection of labels there Nic. I had to skip going to see Dennis ferrer in my local club last weekend Friday because of family commitments. I was really gutted.

One excellent label that needs a mention on this thread in my opinion is Giant Step Records. If I had to nominate a favourite release it would be Jiva /Stars b/w I Realised. The Louis Vega EOL remix of I realized is a beautiful stripped down vocal house gem.
I heard Kerri Chandler play it first but had no clue what it was till I stumbled upon it in Satelite records (RIP) in NYC a few months after back in 2005 or so....
