William Orbit
David Sylvian (cello-tastic)
Zero 7
Royksopp
Art of Trance (also good at trance)

| Id have to say my all time favorite ambient track is "subtle body" by fila brazillia, but for all time favorite artist you cant beat brian eno who literally termed the phrase "ambient". Also on the top of my list is Cyril Morin, Aphex Twin and Libera are alwys good. |

That's a pretty wide list you've got there, IMO, but out of them, I'd have to say my favorite is Royskopp. Saw those guys in concert at the Hollywood Bowl a few years back and EVERYONE - including the older 50+ crowd that usually goes there - was on their feet and dancing. It was an incredible performance. I've yet to hear any band that can come close to replicating their instumentation and mood.
