| I will be upgrading our service provider today, hopefully that will help to solve any buffering issues on our end. Let me know if you still have buffering issues tonight if you tune it that is. Broadcasting from 7:30pm till late GMT |

Hi Guys,
With the messing about I had getting it to work in Windows Media Player I thought they must be a better way...
Soooo, I've made a quick toolbar - nothing flashy just links to the site and a radio player in there.
I've made an installer for Internet Explorer and for Firefox, which can be found here;

Groove give me a shout if its something you'd like developing a bit more and making official.

I've added a volume slider but im not happy how its working - its a bit touchy... gonna have a refiddle with that me thinks
If it's something that you all would use then post some ideas on here - for instance it can have changing banners showing anything - who's on the station, adverts, competitions...
There could be a seperate mp3 player for mixes, alerts of latest forum posts, a search bar... etc

If we can get the "track info" sliding from right to left, that would be good. I think this is the most important for the users at this point.
Moving forward we should definitely look to add more features. Once completed i will then look to add to the main radio page when it's up for users to download. Also, we could include a add-on page. Like the one google tool bar uses, you go to the page for extra add ons. That way, users get to choose what extras they want added.

Fixed volume slider - man I hate programming sometimes

That would depend on how the content streams from the server - I doubt every track would be listed in an mp3 mix file, right? Metadata will be just the mix?
There is another way but its pretty unlikely - I won't bore you with how.
More do-able is to have the name of the mix/show/dj scrolling - this could probably be gotten from an mp3's metadata - i've done something similar before.

Hmm, is it still like that? Working fine for me.
Might be worth uninstalling and reinstalling -
If its still the same let me know which OS, browser and browser version you're using - I can only test on XP Pro, IE7 & Firefox 2

hello,
1st of all this is to admin, as i don't want to get told off for spamming as i actually joined this forum for the music and chat purposes purely for fun but i stumbled across this post and thought this info may help trugroovez in the future
if any of the admin are thinking of setting up a radio station for trugroovez then please don't hesitate to give me a shout or contact me via email in my profile as my family own an extremely reliable and competitive Internet streaming company, if you need ill send any admin the site details so you can make up your own mind, all i will say is have a look at the site when mailed to you and read their customer feedback forum and I'm sure you will be impressed, they supply audio and video servers and a whole host of other goodies
i run a small Hobie only Internet station with friends over the UK and America playing for their hobbies from their homes too this has been running 6yrs and the streams can be heard 24/7 so you can hear the quality of the audio streams if you wish
