Trance – is at the summit of World Music.
Instructions before reading this: Play some trance, rise up and chill with the moon and/or have a Bonbone which is the underlying force of what is going to be written by me – oh yes, me, let’s just refer to me as Bonbone, I guess.
What is Music? Hey, before I answer this question I would like to say that I thought what I considered to be my kind of music has changed. There is just one kind that topped all the others. This music is Trance; you just flow with where the music takes you. I just needed some help to understand this, the bonbon did the trick.
All ears please, as we proceed; actually wait a minute, until I proceed! Trance…oof where do I start? I know there is more to discover about it, but my observation about it, from what I’m capable of picking up and writing down in the mind of mine where my thoughts are going to explode. When you listen to any reasonable song just focus a bit. What drives the song? You may say the words; the actual video clip, or the beat. Well I’ll tell you what it is. It is the background music, the beat and rhythm of the song. Alright, alright you might have valid points with your reasoning of what drives a song. Trance is going through transition phase for once, for every person it will go through this transition as soon as they take that catalyst water sucking bonbone. Appreciation will come soon after, the appreciation of trance. You will be waiting for it, and telling yourself come on and let’s get on with it. Amidst that inner conflict, it will just catch you off guard. Usually off guard has a bad connotation, but I’m using it in this context in a way that it catches you off guard in a nice way. Instead of actually concentrating on the words of a song, look at the trance perspective and listen to the music, the beats, whatever you may call it. The words of a song just lead you to someone else’s story; it makes you live the situation the song is in. When you concentrate and listen to the music itself you make your own story, it may not even make sense but you are the director. The occasional vocals are introduced sometimes just to help those in need of an imaginative push. It’s a fill in the blank puzzle. You take those beats and transform them in any way you desire, twist them, bend them, extend them; I think you get the picture. Come back to me now…don’t rush of, I’m not done yet.
Are you back yet? Let’s move on. What else do I want to say? Trance is in the race with the category that all the songs with singing are in. It’s reaching this level where it’s going to surpass rap, R&B, soul and so on. That bonbone will make you understand. As it’s increasing number of people give in to it, it will have fulfilled its main objective: to put trance up their above all World Music, to show the real and true aspect of music. What it is really about. It surrounds you, takes you on a rollercoaster ride as you direct its direction and mould it in your own way. However, as nothing will come closer to truth than Trance will, there are those particular songs that you know the names of where the words do bring out the truth. Perfect case study of this would be 2-Pac. You have to give a hand to some of those songs, they have truth in their words, and they have truth in the beat and rhythm.
No it’s not over yet. Music nowadays is too materialistic, fake and I don’t know! You add some on to the list! Its bullshit, even though we people still accredit it and enjoy it. Well we do like it, but we don’t love it. What the bonbon will do is make you love it – in this case love trance. You are part of the music; wait let me ask you this question. Don’t you see dancing on the video clips? Yes you do. How do those sexy girls, for example, dance to the songs? Do they dance to the words? No. It’s the background music. Your body moves with the beat, the change in beats, and the build up transitions. Different beats are combined to create a master piece which is worth listening to. Respect! That is what I have for this music.
It will hit you without you knowing it. You will feel good because of this music; loving and caring for your friends. You are in one of the best moods while you are chilling, and you become an untouchable person. That highly intelligent, twisted, sly chick met her match that day, the day of my first bonbone (Long story). When u get in a bad mood, lets say you might get into a fight because this guy is messing with your friend, in my case for example the anger kicks in and u try to keep it in and if anything happens you are ready. After that part happens or does not happen, you are kind of down because it has actually disrupted your seventh heaven. Hey, it’s not exactly like this, I mean it depends on your attitude, mood – listen **ck these words. It all depends on who you are. As I said, this music revolves around you, and you direct.
Hey if this has been confusing for you then sorry. I mean its just thoughts written down, in no particular order. This all refers back to my point, which is that Trance is at the summit of World Music. It’s the forgotten driving force of music; the driving force of true music has become what it is known today as – Trance. |
