Hi, what is the simplest and cheapest way of setting my laptop up so it has two stereo outputs, so I can listen to cued music on my headphones while I am playing another track already through my speakers, I have only just got hold of Traktor DJ studio if you needn't to know that and I don't really have any other type of special hardware to go with it at the moment

I love vinyl the bast but for my travels abroad I got the Vestax VCI 100 to plug into my laptop & use with Traktor3 & I was wondering exactly the same thing. I NEED to hear my cueing & I NEED to hear the track to get the beats in properly because the auto bpm isnt reliable :: well, it only works on the demo tracks & thats pretty useless. Besides, its all part of the fun getting the beats in otherwise you will just be standing there all useless & boring waiting for the cue point. Anyway, I looked into it & found the Vestax VAI 40 which 'apparently' is ideal for Traktor & the VCI device. You can buy it from America & ship it home (through ebay) cheaper than you can buy it here I think _________________ KEEP VINYL ALIVE |
