If ever you're having a bad day, this is one of those songs you just have to play immediately, and you won't possibly feel down afterwards.
It's 100% disco-house heaven and so infect'ious you'll be singing it for months. Infect'ive is none other than Chris Brophy, a dance remixer and producer responsible for a string of hits including a Billboard number one for the 'Ambassador of Dance', Chicago's Georgie Porgie. This highly respected British dance producer has yet again given us another club banger with all the right ingredients required to take 'High' into the mainstream charts. It's what you'd expect from a guy with almost fifty records to his credit for over twenty record labels. Chris is inspired by top notch producers such as Full Intention, Axwell, Kid Creme and Junior Jack and was once described as 'The Mozart of Dance Music'. His Infect'ive Mix Show has been aired on over sixty one stations around the world and broadcasts to a worldwide audience of over 2 million people. Infect'ive? Impress'ive.
In 2002 whilst working at California's Aloha Studios, Chris was introduced to talented Missouri born vocalist Teri Brown, after she responded to his ad for a singer in the local press. They worked together briefly before Chris had to fly back to the UK, and due to other work commitments the track remained incomplete. When the music for 'High' was written earlier this year, Chris knew Teri was the ideal person to write stunning lyrics and add flawless diva-style vocals to the mix. However, to call her simply a 'vocalist' is a serious understatement! A truly gifted songwriter and musician also, whose powerful vocals entice clubbers onto the dancefloor every time. It's hard to believe that this is Teri's first 'dance' release, and millions of you around the world will no doubt agree - it won't be her last.
High has all the hallmarks of a hit record on an international scale. It's mighty Infect'ious!
