| This will take you back. There was a dance single back in the late 70's or early 80's. It was very popular in "happy" discos and other underground clubs. There was a dance routine called The Control Tower that was associated with this dance single. Whenever the DJ played this particular single, the entire floor would clear almost immediately and everyone would move in unison to the same dance routine (hence The Control Tower). You know, along the same lines as the Macarena (hated it!). Does anyone know the name, artist, or any information about the actual dance single associated with The Control Tower dance???? I can only think of two productions that have the same name and that's a Jumpy Frank Wilson production called "Control Tower" & Magic Disco Machine "Control Tower" on Tamla Motown records.
Not sure they have any association with the dance...
