The Trugroovez team was out night in full fashion @ Studio S33.

A genuine night of pure dance music, blinding atmosphere. Bouncers where friendly but still on top of everything (Big shoulders ect) dj's where on top form. The crowd was equally impressive and warm & friendly.. definatley recommend this night to all dance music lovers.

Just to make it clear, this was a fantastic night and we were still talking about this the next day.

A full review of Studio S33 availble below.

The Official Trugroovez Club Review of Studio 33
Event: Dance Music Forum Launch Night.

We started our night by ordering cocktails at the O bar in Soho at around 9:00 pm Friday night. Our pre-warm up ceremony incorporates the downing of shots to gel the Trugroovez Team and awaken the spirit of the night.

The Location - Studio 33

The trip from Vauxhall Station to the club takes about 2-3 minutes and you pass a food van (good for any straglers out there). We get to the club and the usual security checks mean that my chewing gum is confiscated. After a quick but thorough search we are on our way.

Warmly Introduction to Studio 33

As soon as we set foot in the club we imediately get the feeling we are all in for a fab night, the 25k sound system was just at the right volume to build the atmosphere. The bar staff were eagerly waiting to serve people whilst enjoying the music and in between serving they were dancing to the music and were adding to the atmosphere which was building up in steady fashion.

It took about 30 seconds to get served which we loved.
3 Separate Rooms - 3 Clubs in One

The next room we went into was playing hardcore/hard house tunes running at about 160BPM, this room was spacious so you have plenty of room to dance with out feeling crushed. The sound system in the hardcore area was excellent so we listened to a few mixes and decided to check out the final room. The final room was playing excellent trance and house tracks which were playing at a more moderate tempo. (Is that my age catching up with me;) again spacious and plenty of room to dance and great vibes all round.

Back to the main Room (Funky House Vibe)

In the main room we managed to sit on some leather chairs to enjoy a bottle whilst the night got in to full swing. We observed a good (relaxed) atmosphere and was soon into our club mode. The DJ's in all rooms played tunes - a contant system of tune, then another tune, then another tune - all DJs worked like clockwork. (We could not resist the atmosphere and danced in every room)

Studio 33 - One Big Happy Family

Let's make it really clear, we loved this place - the people were all friendly, everyone we got talking to was on our level, the place erupted and the music lovers were out in full swing.

Studio 33 - Well Organised And Loads of Personality

Don't get me wrong I just love winging about what is not right with a club, the thing about Studio 33 is we had such a great night there wasn't anything that would could find wrong with it. The club was well organised, everyone who worked there was spot on.

The team were alert all night and the staff we flirted with were doing a fantasic job. The bouncers were well informed, and were low-key which really made a difference. All in all a wicked vibe was brewing and we loved it to bits.

THE CROWD RESPONDED TO THE ATMOSPHERE - FUELED BY THE DRINK, DJ's, STAFF AND THE BIG FAT SOUND SYSTEM

The crowd were equally impressive - it was like being in a club in Amsterdam without the "Agression not Allowed" posters. A real top night, we drank a veriety of drinks and they had a constant supply of water to keep us chilling whilst we danced the night away. (Well my dance moves were pretty hot so I needed cooling at regular intervals!!!)

HIGHLIGHT OF THE NIGHT AT STUDIO 33

The highlight of the night has to be down to two DJ's who were playing back to back. Apart from the usual DJ dance they pulled off incredibly well, they added even more soul to a party that was in full swing. At times the dj’s would leave the decks to join in with the crowd which we thought was superb.

The two DJ's working back to back played tune after tune and their devotion to work the decks were on the same par as some of the top djs on the scene. These guys are definitely ones to watch out for, I hope to see them out soon on the DJ circuit cause they were awsome.

They dropped one of their own tunes and the club erupted, they dropped we danced. They teased us, we loved it, they danced and we went mental.

The crowd cheered and the club was rocking none-stop.

OTHER CLUBS - TAKE NOTE!

Sadly many clubs today have too many plastic people, not enough soul and are poorly managed - in contrast we loved the atmosphere we experienced at Studio 33. It was so divine we thought we went back in time and was at a warehouse party. Great sound system, great people, great management, sexy dancers, and most importantly an intelligent, open minded, relaxed vibe!!!

Studio 33 SO GOOD - COULD WE IMPROVE IT?

I have to say we found only one thing that we think would make a difference. THERE WAS NO MUSIC IN THE GENTS!!!!

GIVE THE GUY A STEREO AND LET HIM PLAY BOB MARLEY TUNES ALL NIGHT!!!

Studio 33 TRUGROOVEZ REVIEW

A definite thumbs up; This place has nearly everything you want on a night out. The club still has room for more people so get yourself down there everyone and maybe we can share the vibe together?

CLOSING NOTES

One thing to mention they do have different music playing on different nights so please check this out before going there. The Garage night would probably be quite a different atmosphere - the atmosphere we were enjoying was coming from a house vibe and we were loving the love from the beautiful people.

Trugrooves Review Score = 10/10

OTHER THINGS OF INTEREST @ Studio 33
Clean and maintained toilets,
ATM to save you searching for a bank,
Seated areas with comfy leather sofas,
Outdoor chill out terrace (under construction)
Friendly staff and security,
Reasonably priced drinks and most importantly for our discerning customers the latest ‘Turbo System’ with clear and crisp sound and not to forget state of the art lighting for your visual delight

FINAL WORD - GET YOURSELF DOWN THERE ASAP:)

Please note - this was an unbiased review, we did not know anyone there when we arrived and left the place thinking we were part of one big family.

We did not get paid for this promotion - this is a FACTUAL account of our evening out.

Got a club you want to promote? Why not put it to the Trugroovez Review Challange and get your Club noticed!

TCJ ;)
