Hi all,

I'm currently having a prob when saving sound files snippits in sound forge 6..

Lets say I cut and paste a file into sound forge and then save..

When I play the file back I find there is always small gap at the end of the file no matter how I cut or trim the sample.. Any suggestions as to why this may be happerning?

I've got the same problem on my Soundforge 7... It adds a gap in front of it too... Only when saving mp3, though!

Did you solve the issue with the gap being left at the end Tgl?

I'm still trying to work out why this is happerning.

Ryan, try re-installing & disable pre-edit in preferences? I did have this problem with sound forge 5. I re-installed and changed a few options in preferences.

Not a soundforge user but some programs do this to avoid 'clipping' the end of the sample. Fruityloops does this when exporting loops for example. It is disabled in the preferences. It must be in the preferences somewhere ryan.
