Sorry guys but im a noob and im really dumb... but what is a label? LOL what a stupid question but i have no clue what it is. can u guys tell me?

I think that will be a record label (company) DJ Dez... ie Warp, Perfecto, Rising High, Hooj (RIP) etc...
