Hello guys,
I'm new to this forum... I'm clearing out my studio at the moment and have my dear pair of amplified studio monitors for sale.
I’ve owned them since 2002 and used them in a smoke-free studio.
They are made from FAR (Fundamental Acoustic Research) in Belgium. far-audio.com
This is a company that specialises in acoustic research, studio cabin design and they’ve involved in every big broadcast/studio project in Belgium.
These near-field amplified monitors reproduce a very clean “reference” sound and are very balanced. They can be used for studio/dj monitors or any other type of studio or AV installation. Granted, the name is not known as Genelec or PMC or KRK or Fostex or Yamaha etc but believe me that their quality is excellent.
They can go pretty loud while maintaining clarity and balance. Also, there's an input and output stage limiter.
Price was 1.200 Euros when I bought them new.
I'm also including a pair of Samson asjustable stands.
I'm looking for 350 pounds.
