Theres quite a lot of rubbish sounding records out there at the moment (Mix-wise)... probably from bedroom producers trying to do it in their room....
If you produce here and are doing it properly...do you get a professional to mix it down for you? if not why not?
Also if you haven't thought about it what are your thoughts?
I think that it is important to get someone else to mix it as they would be a fresh set of ears on the job and it would be in a different mix environment.
