Bylli,

You have posted on this forum that your looking for someone to re-mix your tunes, that's a good start & I'm sure one of the producers here will have a go if they have the time buddy...

Secondly: You could always set up a competition on your we site for someone to remix your tune and they win a nice prize, depending on your budget of course..this is a good way to genrate traafiic to your site and also free promotion.. give it a go you have nothing to lose... Smile

Firstly everyone has different styles about how they go about setting up competitons, but a few basic suggestions would be to have like 3 pages dedicated to the remix comp, give it a cool name (Brand it) place some comp info with some quality graphics ect to create the buzz of the comp on the page, & then you could set up a small download section on ya site with all the samples of the selected tunes that you want remixed in different categories.

Maybe set up a small message board specifaclly for reviews of the remixed tunes that people have sent in, this way you set a bench mark for others to showcase the remixed tunes, this kinda creates competitiveness beteween remixers..

Also, I would work at getting as many other music sites promoting the comps possible create an awareness.

Bylli, why dont you check out Drum & Bass Arena (link below), their currently running a remix competition. you can grab some cool ideas on how they go about it! - but do try to stay original though!

Wow, seems very complex. This would be a first time for me. I am new at this. Maybe someone could create an outline for me? I dunno. I am just so tied up with so many things and that set up looked very complex. Sad

Start small, one page, one tune, samples for download and some info on the comp oh & some rules!

& then see how you get on with the response.. you can always keep working on the concept..

Less is more!

ok i understand totally:

gotta go with what you comfortable with,

maybe sufing the www and look for remix competitions for ideas and then when you confident that you can put something substantial together, incluidng all the ideas that you have pulled together then go ahead and set somthing up - in the mean-time just continue to ask around for others to remix your work for you... im sure you will get a good response soon!

Also, why not post some of your work in the DJ Mixes/New Productions section, this way others can see your work:
