Hello,
Was just wondering if anyone knew of any remix comps running at the moment or resources for finding out?
Had a search on the web but not much showed up.
Just getting to grips with reason and could do with a little project to focus on....

Eee Zee BlazesBoylan, welcome to the forums.
We were planning to run our own remix comp here at trugroovez.com last month but this has been postponed due to a sponsor deal not going thru. We are currently in talks with a few music sites about joining us to help run a remix comp, so when we hear more news i'll post all details here.

| Blazes, you can usually find several running at acidplanet.com - may not be exactly what you're after since many of them require your remix to be done with Acid (if you want to be eligible to win). However, I entered one there last month that permitted remixers to use the software of their choice...so it's worth a look. cheers - JJ |

Also check out all music tech related magazines. They are always running comps on the cover cd's with all samples included!

Acid Planet is ALWAYS holding remix contests. They get some pretty big name artists too! They currently have five remix contests going, and one is for The Chemical Brothers! PM me if you want a link....
