Have a listen to this tune and see what you think. I'm after a few pointers on where the track needs to go. It's in its very early stages and needs a catchy vocal line. I have all widdly bits ready to be applied...
http://www.imgifted.co.uk/music/default.asp?genre=20 The track is called Evolution. _________________ Mmmm... |

The basic track sounds a good. I would change the kick drum though, souns a little high pitched, but I assume you know that already.
What ideas you got for the vocals? |

I want the vocals to be oldskool, a bit like Take Me Away... dunno the actual track name but the girl that sang it was well cute, I met her at Leisure Lounge once after a PA she did, the toon had a really phatt organ bass... classic...
I also want to keep it head-down stomp on Lil Louis sort of thing... minimalist...
True, the kik is too full-on, it sounds hi-pitched unless you've got some decent sized whoofers, then it shakes some booty!!! _________________ Mmmm... |
