Ok, i've been looking at reason 3.0 on e-bay. Seems some people start their bids at $200.00 while others at $9.95. The only difference I am seeing is that some are ( NEW ) as they put it and others are copys. Some come with the serial number and some don't. Some say they are registerable and others don't. Am I missing something? If you need to have the serial number to register, why would you buy the (copy) version? Any help with this would be great!  |

| The copies would most likely come with a crack - The registration code that you get on the copy cd would just be entered the same but the crack would unlock to software.. |

This is the same then? Either one would work? Is there no difference in features? What about legal issues? Sorry for sounding so silly but i've just started with this and I don't want to mess it up so soon. Thank you for replying but I still do not quite understand.....  |

| Does anyone have any information on this? I am trying to buy the software but am not sure how to go about it. Are these ebay things a scam? Gotta spell it out for me though.. catching on a bit later in life and a very new to all this..thanks |

| Firslty: If your going to purchase any computer software on ebay, I would suggest you make sure the person your buying from has a good selling reputation. Secondly, if the reason software your looking to purchase is the original, then go for it.. But i would stay away from copies as this can casue major problems not only for your computer but loading sample files.. I've heard some nightmare stories.. |

Like it was said before me, and this is true for any software sold on Ebay, just be very cautious with what you are planning to buy ... This being said, please keep in mind that a starting bid is only what it is ... a starting bid .... Most of the starting bid end-up always reaching the average price wanted for the specific item ...i would be then more cautious with a "buy it now" price very low for an expansive item ...
Also make sure that you gonna get all the Sound Bank CDs that come with it and ARE necessary for installation :
- Cd 1 : Installation CD
- Cd 2 : Orkester Sound Bank
- Cd 3 : Reason Sound Bank
