TruGroovez Forum Rules & Posting Guidelines
Welcome to the TruGorovez forum rules & posting guideline section. To make sure that you have a quality experience on the Trugroovez Forums, we ask that you please read the following carefully.
*** Forum Rules & Posting Guidelines ***
1.
a. Posts are to be made in the relevant forums. Members are asked to read the forum descriptions before posting. Members consistently posting to the wrong forum may be given a warning.
b. Members should post in a way that is respectful of other users. Flaming or abusing users in any way will not be tolerated and will lead to a warning
c. If you're just joining to forum to advertise your own site, don't! If your only intention is to post links to other sites then please note we delete or ban accounts that spam the forums. Forum members that give something back to the forums are more than welcome to post links.
d. Advertising, spamming is not allowed. This includes using the forum email and Private message system to spam other members. If you are looking to advertise your web site or music service on the TruGroovez forums, then please contact the forum admin first so we can arrange advertisement fees.
e.TruGroovez forum members are asked to respect the copyright of other users, sites, media, etc. Users linking to or asking for information on, illegal music software, mp3's, music files, promos, unreleased material, warez, software crackz etc. or re-printing material without permision will receive a warning and possible account ban.
f. Do not request or link directly to any music files unless; they are your own work, free for public use or for sample use only. We do NOT tollerate illegal file sharing.
g. Members should use an appropriate, descriptive title when posting a new topic. Examples of bad titles include; "whats this!", "Download!!", "how?!!!", etc. Examples of good titles include; "How do i add a mix to site?", "Samples not working in Reason" etc.
h. Do not cross spam any thread across this forum, you may contact the forum admin and enquire about a forum wide announcement for important information. Cross forum posts will be deleted.
i. Spam is not tolerated on this forum under any circumstance. This includes offering hosting services (charged and free), reccord shop promotion, music industry services, solicitation etc. Users posting spam will be banned without question and their post removed.
j. Do not post or request links for warez, crackz, pornography, infected files (for example a trojan or virus). Links posted to hacking, hosting, dating, e-commerce or any content that is in breach of the trugroovez copyright, including but not limited to music files.
k. The forum admin & moderators reserve the right to edit or remove any post at any time. Any posts found to contain vulgar, obscene, homophobic, racist, hateful, threatening or illegal content will be removed and members account deleted.
l. The above forum rules where applicable also apply to private messaging. Abuse of the private messaging system may lead to warnings (as above) and/or the banning of members account.
2. General Links & Signature Link Policy
a. While we have nothing against bona-fide members posting bona-fide music links, A few of the new posts on this board are by new members who have no intention of joining in with the overall music community here. Therefore it's now forum policy to disable links that new members post promoting there own sites of interest - unless of course the new posted link is worth keeping. ( moderators discretion )
b. All members must reach a minimum of 15 posts they can have an active signature in posts. This has been applied to all current members without prejudice .
c. Members signature text sizes should be between 9 and 12 (small and normal). Text in signatures is subject to the same conditions as posts with respect decency, warez, emoticons, spam and so forth
d. Only two URL links allowed per members signature, these must be music related - Non-music sigs will be deleted.
e. Failure to adhere to the above forum rules may result in the deletion of your forum account or in extreme circumstances, a permanent ban and an abuse complaint to your ISP - Permanent bans are a last resort.. In circumstances where an intentional or malicious attack is made on the forum or any user we reserve the right to publish IP addresses and other information that will identify the source.
While these rules cover most common situations, they cannot anticipate everything. Consequently we reserve the right to take any actions we deem appropriate to ensure these forums are not disrupted or abused in any way.
We reserve the right to ban anyone who willfully violates the forum rules.
