There are about 60,000 mad Rangers fans just in Manchesters piccadily gardens alone lol, they have swamped the city and the off licences have run out of booze, the M61 which is one of the main motorways into the city is gridlocked back to Preston lol thats about 20 mile away, they've got some support i'll give them that!
Hope they win tonight, it will be great for british football _________________ MANCHESTER DRUM AND BASS SOULJAH !

Disgusting what the Ranger's fans did the Manchester after in all fairness St. P deserved to win. I am a big Aston Villa fan but I still don't understand all these fuckwits that get aggressive over football.

Yeah they got a bit out of hand coz one of the big screens was'nt working which you can understand was quite frustrating, they abused the town tho puking up and pissing everywhere aswell
Back to the game tho, Rangers were woeful very poor , can't beleive they played one up front?
Smith looked cluless once they went 1-0 down _________________ MANCHESTER DRUM AND BASS SOULJAH !

Mate personally I don't want Barry to join you I mean how could any Villa fan want him to, he's essentially our Talisman our Steven Gerrard / John Terry / Michael Owen. If we lose Barry we would lose what we have built on over the last 2 seasons. MON needs to be building our team not selling our best players I'd be equally pissed if we sold Ashely Young or Gabby lol
Personally what I would put to Barry is why would you want to join Liverpool. By that I mean fair enough Champions League football, BUT the last 2 season's you havn't won anymore trophies than us, he would no doubt be in a rotation policy and even tho I think Barry is a brilliant player I think being in rotatation with the likes of Mascherano/Lucas etc. wouldn't be in his best interest. England doesn't matter cause Capello is unlike his predcessors where he'll only pick the Golden Boys, hence why Barry has played the last 2 games for England and I believe is brilliant in the middle of the park with Gerrard but he's not hurting his England chances playing for Villa as he's playing week in week out in an ever improving team where lets face it he's center of attention which maybe does his confidence and great alot of good
I think it all boils down to what Barry wants, I'm not having a dig at pool don't get me wrong I was on the edge of my seat when you on the Champions League and jumped for joy when u did win it as its great to see an English team win european competitions. But I just don't see what benefits he would get from Pool other than possibly playing CL football in a rotation policy and larger wages (money does talk.) _________________ There ain't anything better than a proper good old stomp! |

I agree with you mate, personally i don't think we need him and if Benitez thinks we do why did he pay £17 million for Mascherano? I think he was over priced as he does'nt score enogh goals for me and for £17 million i would expect goals aswell as his midfeild responsabilties. Barry would be a great buy instead of him. I hear that Alonso may be going so Barry would be a replacement for him i suppose.
I hear what your saying about the silverware but players want to be tested at the highest level and the CL is seen as that top level i suppose and to be playing along side Gerrard and Torres is what will attract him too.
I like that lad you've got up front is it Aglondabor or somthing , he's a great litlle player. _________________ MANCHESTER DRUM AND BASS SOULJAH !

Yeah I think a partnership with Gerrard would bring him on a bit more I guess like you said, you paid loads for Mascherano but me personally if Benitez is valueing Crouch at what is it £15mil? then considering Barry is "a regular" for England (very well could be) is our Club Captain, still has 2 years left on his contract and suffice to say is alot more valuable to us than Crouch is to you (as when you have a striker like Torres and Babel who looks like he's going to do some damage) I would expect more than the £10mil mish-mash of players or even the 15mil demanded for Crouch, I think Benitez is being unreasonable in my opinion, I mean look at the bid on Gerrard or apparent bid it was dismissed outright saying he is under contract for Liverpool, well ditto for Barry you know .
Benitiez is apparently valueing Carson at 10mil aswell I mean christ alive he makes Stuart Taylor look like Peter Shilton :S ok he's young but so is Joe Hart and Joe Hart I think is a fantastic keeper. _________________ There ain't anything better than a proper good old stomp! |

oh and Gabby Agbonlahor is a good player, I hope that like Luke Moore (who was also a promising prospect when he was coming through) he doesn't burn out. He's got tons and tons of pace and his intelligence has improved this season, but I think he just needs a bit more of a killer instinct (which I hope will come with experience) I just think he maybe needs someone at the club in a similar mould to him that he can learn off. Someone who likes to play off the last man and get behind defences Come on MON sign Michael Owen lol! _________________ There ain't anything better than a proper good old stomp! |

he would look great with Torres Crouch is a great player and more of a regular than barry in the england team? I wish we were'nt selling him i think he adds another dimension to the attack and he holds the ball up very well, i would get rid of vorinin and kuyt myself. If you got Crouch that would be a great partnership with Carew, you can't defend against height mate. _________________ MANCHESTER DRUM AND BASS SOULJAH !

Well I mean with Barry (very well could be) he's played the last 2 games, I think Crouch is a fantastic striker, is tall but he's got great feet, I'd love to see him back at Villa Park but the abuse we gave him when he first here was shocking.
Kuyt is shocking I mean I don't care what any1 says about "scoring important goals" every now and then or making a few assists.
My attitude is a strikers primary role is to score goals, if they ain't doing just that then they ain't much of a striker. I dunno why Rafa is selling Crouch I think that is nuts but hey ho we'll have him back down VP if u give us him and 10mil cash for Barry lol _________________ There ain't anything better than a proper good old stomp! |

Thats looking like the likley outcome though innit mate, we need to get rid of Riise,Kewell,Vorinin,Pennant,Kuyt for starters, i think big sammi hyypia might go this season too but he's been a great player. i think all the above will go in the summer except for Kuyt whom Rafa loves and i can see Crouchy going to you boys or city.
I think coming in will be Berbatov , Messi , Kaka , and Gatuso I wish ! _________________ MANCHESTER DRUM AND BASS SOULJAH !
