Ok so finally i have saved up to buy 2 powered/active monitors for my bedroom. I am looking to spend roughly 200 maybe a bit more if really worth it. Can anyone recommend me some? I want them to be able to reach a high loudness but fairly small if possible Thanks |

you got quite a few options here
i first had a pair of alesis m1 mk2 actives, they cost £220, they sound quite nice but they're a bit bass heavy... so you really need somet like auralex mopads to sit them on if your thinking about them
my current pair of monitors are a pair of Event TR8's, they sound really nice and are pretty damn accurate for the price, however they were a bit more costly at £329, they do a cheaper model, the Event TR6's, however they're £30 cheaper but the reviews on them make them out to be pretty poor in comparison to the TR8s!
M-audio and KRK are manufacturers to look out for also!
but your studio monitors are extremely important, so if you can i'd get to a shop and ask to hear some studio monitors! |
