In only its first year, Pacha New York has been included in this year’s DJ Mag Top 50 Clubs of the World, entering the list at #20. In addition to the noteworthy ranking, Pacha New York has the distinction of being the highest ranking New York City club with flagship club Pacha Ibiza ranked near the very top of the list at #3. According to DJ Mag, the ranking is a list of the “the definitive top 50 clubs from around the globe” and it is the most important club poll in dance music because the biggest DJs in the world are voting for their favorite club in which to perform.
Pacha New York co-owner Eddie Dean commented on the recent designation saying, “I'm elated. DJ Mag is a much respected industry source. To be voted into the Top 50 in our first year is a great testament to all the people who put in so many hours here, being voted #20 is even better considering all the great clubs listed around the world.“ Co-owner and resident DJ Erick Morillo attributed the high ranking to, “The amazing sound system and the fact that it's a big club spread out over 4 floors yet anywhere you stand there's an intimate feeling. On top of that, the flexibility to turn two rooms into four, our great staff from, security all the way to Management, is what makes Pacha New York a great clubbing experience from beginning to end!”
I will for sure visit this club in the near future.
