going through your cd collection is like flinging thru your records. having said that, dumping all your tracks on a few MP3 disks is just as bad as digital djing _________________ "Yeh, I'm a club head. I've got a gig coming up end of the month and the place has 2 CDJ 800's and a Technics 1210....So i've got cd's and vinyl although will probably end up having to use mostly cd's...has anyone ever experienced skipping with cd's in a club/bar before??? im totally dreading it i don't feel safe at all! At least on vinyl it doesn't sound that bad but on cd's..well... |

Get ready for lot's of skipping, I would feel a lot safer with 2 Technic's & 1 CDJ, or better still insist on 2 Technic's and feel the vinyl!!! _________________ Panzramindustrial 20/2/9 Liverpool UK

See that would freak me out too.I mean its bad enough listening to dj mixes and you hear the skips but i personaly wouldnt know where to look if i was mixing and the cd started to skip. I'm reasonably good on the decks and can talk enough crap to get out of most predicaments but a cd skipping in the middle of a set would put me to shame _________________ What Give's You The Impression I'm Your Blud? |
