The old skool raves 1987 - 1991 - ahhh those where the days....acieeeeeed!
Raindance at Jenkins Lane, Barking on the London/Essex borders. Visions, Dreamscape, World Dance near Junction 6 of the M25 , Biology at the films studio in Battersea, The Dungeons at Leabridge Road, Leytonstone London, Roller Express Edmonton!! yeah yeah I could go on & on.. How many of you attended any of the raves in the late 80's early ninties?
Definately good memories for me. Spending many hours in traffic jams trying to get to the event, and thats if we could find the feild/wherehouse where it was being held, all we had was a flyer to guide us ha ha..... and many a time trugging threw muddy feilds at 6am in the morning half cut trying to find your car!!
so was you at any of the UK raves in the late 80's Early nineties lets us know!! _________________ TruGroovez Radio! - Offline until Monday 7th July! |

I certainly remember some "messy" nights at the Greyhound (Dungeon), wearing white jeans... coming home somewhat sweaty, and the white jeans no-longer white, just an off-white muddy colour... my poor old Kicker boots too...
Back in the days where the body and brain could take the abuse... _________________ Mmmm... |

God yeah, I still have flashbacks now. The big Sunrise and Back to the future raves and Energy, we used to sell the tickets for all the major events all through the summer of 89, before the days of Raindance. I went to the 2nd one at Jenkins lane that got closed down at 2am by the police and I ended up at some party in a flat in Romford(and I didn't leave for 4 months after that). Anyone go to the Freedom to party march 1990 at Trafalgar Square when Debbie Malone performed rescue me on the mic with just a guy doing beatbox?
Were playing all those tunes on Bank holiday Sunday at the liquid bar in Ilford if anyones close by.
