Right, so I'm new to music making (hence that phrase) and basically I wanted to know the best "professional grade" music making software... one where NO PHYSICAL INSTRUMENTS are used - as I was looking for something to make music for myself and I live in a small apartment (and have no room for instruments and such). I was looking at Cubase as a possibility but I'm not completely sure if it has the ability to actually create music from scratch on its own.
