Hey, Im 13 and am very interested in PC DJing. I have a copy of PCDJ Red, but really want a mixer to go with it. A USB it would have to be wouldnt it?
Does anyone know of any Mixers, no more than 6 channels, that I would be able to buy after a little saving up? And also some suggested kit would be greatfully appreciated to gte me started. Its just for homoe use at the moment, on PC running Windows ME.
Thanks in advanced

Ben i just found out that the PCDJ is not compatible with the USB Mixer that I have refered to above. This is due to the way that the drivers were written for this product. The Mackie Firewire Mixer works as does the Rane mp4. Bit pricey though..
Try checking those out:

Thanks for those but they are a bit pricey!
Is there any DJ software that the first mixer will work with?
PS: Sorry for the late reply, have been away |

| If you're new to DJing and have never beat matched, I would suggest spending some money on some belt driven tables or some cheap CD Decks. They are the nightclub industry standard and if you get a gig that is not PC compatible you'll have to pass because you can't work the decks. Just a suggestion bro. Good luck. |

i have to step in and say do not buy belt drive turntables - they're a waste of time and money
if i was starting now i'd save as much as possible and buy a pair of Vestax CD decks or the like or even Pioneers 100s would get you started anything lower and you'll be frustrated within weeks
cheers, UA |

If you want to be more hands on but as well not spend much at all. You can get those packages that have the two cd djs and mixers in one peice.
Or like before said, vestax cdj's are pretty cheap as well cdj100s. Check out your local stores |
