Hey there,
I'm new here, so hi everyone ;)
I had a question, that I'm hoping someone can help me with. For the past 2 years I've had a laptop, on which I had no trouble recording the audio I heard (on my laptop) with.
I recently bought a new computer, An HP-Pavilian.. the sound now comes through the speakers of the screen. I tried loads of different settings in the sound panel, but whatever I do, I can NOT seem to receive the waves while recording. I don't get any sound what-so-ever when I record! (just a very light, sound..).. any ideas which settings to adjust please?
thanks in advance,
B. |

Had exactly the same problem mate! Send an email to the cooledit support. they helpt me out with print screens and stuff, but i've thrown way the email!!
try this. (this is the realy easy way, and i guess you've already done it), double click on the volume controller (at the bottom right of the screen), and go to properties, mark "recording". click ok, and then try to mark different boxes at the same time as you play music on your PC, and have double clicked on the volume parameter in cooledit. (to see that it recievs any sound).
This wasnt the problem for me, but it has helped me out other times.
As you see, i'm so bad at this sort of things...
if there is mp3 you want to record, just drag the file on to the cooledit icon and edit it in there. _________________ over and out from sweden |
