Ok I've had a pair of Denon DNS-3500's and Pioneer DJM-600 mixer for a year and half now. I use to have a Denon DN-X100 before I upgraded to the Pioneer. After upgrading to the Pioneer mixer I did notice a huge change in the sound quality and fader controls but I'm in a debate of spending the money for the Pioneer CDJ's cause would I really see a difference in quality of muzik that I play or are the Denon's just as good? _________________ "I'm the expert on life experience and politics" -xeonchrome |

if you do decide to upgrade the denons, you better off to get a 3500 because its direct drive unlike the 3000 which is belt driven _________________ "Yeh, I'm a club head. What of it? Get the CDJ 1000's, I've used the denon CD decks and I've got the Pioneers which are far superior. They're industry standard for a reason! _________________ Why is experience something you get after you need it? |

Pioneer decks have got a tight pitch - meaning that once we set it to say +4.5, its gonna remain so for ever unless we change. But in case of MOST of the denon players, the pitch is not stable. It may keep shuffling within +/- 0.2% range of the set pitch. And hence we gotto do the pitch bend many a times while in the mix.
About mixers,
YES Pioneers rock ! I got a Pioneer DJM 400 which i won in a war of djs competition. Im using it since 1.5 years. Trust me, I'm very satisfied with them. They got hell loadsa effects and that too 'useful' ones.
Thanx ! _________________ REgards,

u have a valid point about the Denon CD players, i use denons and i have noticed the pitch isnt very stable. im not sure if the 3500 is like that tho or the new model (can not remember the name tho). i use a DN-S1000 and its a great little cd player. won best compact disk player in europe some year.... but im constantly playing around with the pitch during mixes... _________________ "Yeh, I'm a club head.
