Just reading the beat matching tutorial by ÐJ †HʮضY, which was great, but wondering something. It is easiest to match tracks that are the most similar. But as long as there is a beat almost anything can be matched by speeding up or slowing down record 2, am I right in thinking this?

I just go by ear. if a tune has a beat thats roughly the same speed then you should be ok.

I didnt word that right really, basically, I mean when you are speeding up or slowing down track 2. do you wait until you have the mixer totally on the second record to return the track to its normal speed or how is that done?
