Keith, man every time you put one of these classics up I sit there going through the track listing saying "oh thats a tune" "and another tune" "I remember that" "aw man I aint played that tune for years, where is it" I love Marlena Shaw I've got loads of her stuff and Roy Ayers, I've met him a couple of times now, he often plays at the camden jazz cafe and I always try to go, it's an excellant night.
your taste in music really floats my boat, I guess you know it inspires me to dig through my own collection and put together my own flavours. I've got a couple of other mixes I want to do but I can feel another classics mix comming on perhaps a tribute to philly or maybe a selection of really rare grooves.
