Hi all - this one might be a bit difficult I think ?
There was a house tune from the mid 90's (I think) that sampled Billy Paul's ' Only the Strong Survive' (both music and the lyrics) .The main vocal sample was a short snippit of Billy Paul singing 'Get Up' from the song.
It had a really catchy bass line and quite a complicated drum pattern - almost latin like. It sampled the horns and added a keyboard solo section near the end of the track too.
It definately wasn't the Black Connection's 'Give me Rhythm' from 1997 as I think it was a couple of years before this.
Any help gratefully appreciated for this killer tune and thanks in advance.
Ok I've tried to recreate a crude loop of what the track sounds like in the link at the bottom. Excuse the lame quality !
I'm really hoping someone will recognise this tune

Cheers for that mate  Though that ain't it either lol ! I'm sure the tune I'm after was released around 1993/94 ? Damn I wish I kept the old mixtape I had with it on !
