Mate i was reading the new Mixmag and theres an article about some club in leeds, supposed to be very good. The name of it escapes me but i'll look it up

I don't know if you guys would be interested but if a few of you wanted to play a night at the Oh Bar in Camden, I'm pretty sure we could get it for a split share of door and bar, I would need to check this before anything got put in place but its not worth asking if no one is interested in spinning. Sadly I'm no DJ so I can't throw my hat in the ring but I'll help with getting it set up and promoting it. What do you think?

Ive got two djs that can make it as it's in London. We can also help with promotion. So yeah that makes me interested.

I don't see any reason why we couldn't do a "Trugroovez.com Presents..." night at the Oh Bar if they are cool with doing the split takings of door an bar (like I said I need to confirm that we could get this which I should be able to do by next week). There is a night this Friday at the Oh Bar which I've posted about, it will be interesting to see how well it goes down, I know the guy running it is talking about doing a monthly if it all goes well.
If the TG night takes off (and this is getting a little ahead of myself) there is no reason we couldn't do a monthly night and use some of the proceeds to bring some of the other forum DJ's to London, that should please hardcorehousefan!

I'm interested too, I've got quite a few contacts that I've used in the past for banners, flyers, decor etc - and I've been toying with the idea of getting something up and running for a while now, just didn't fancy carrying all the burden myself, all the previous stuff I've done I've done with another person, this is the perfect answer for me.

I'm not of a calibre where I could play I'm still pretty green on the decks but I wouldn't mind actually coming down just for the night to be honest or helping out with an organisational work

Well I spoke to the manager of the Oh Bar last night and it looks like they don't charge to use the venue, the way it works (I think, I'm getting clarification) is they let us run the door and decide the charges or we choose to let them run the door and take a split of the takings behind the bar. If we can get a Friday night then it would probably be better to take the second option. The Oh Bar is open until 4am Saturday morning so there is plenty of time for it to get busy. I was there until about 11 last night (stupid trains) and it was starting to get quite busy, I will speak to my friend and see how the rest of the night went.
They had 4 DJ's doing 2 hour sets, which sounds like a good idea, although as I said I'm no DJ so don't know how hard that is. How many people have we got that can play?
