Here's a link to a couple of samples of the type of effect I am trying for. I use FL7 and have tried the granulizer and got close, but not close enough...

Damn I know how to do that in Ableton. I forget the name of the VST though. Im assuming your just talking about it repeating extremely fast right?

Going by your sample...
That vocal sample is timestrecthed first, also has a slight phaser on it.
Then to get the choppyness effect, you can manually cut the timestretched sample into bits to hit the bassline at 1/8 |
