Here's a link to a couple of samples of the type of effect I am trying for. I use FL7 and have tried the granulizer and got close, but not close enough...

Damn I know how to do that in Ableton. I forget the name of the VST though. Im assuming your just talking about it repeating extremely fast right?
And the second sample, not too sure off the top of my head. I am not at home but its definitely cool sounding. I will be home soon and mess with some effects and what not.

Going by your sample...
That vocal sample is timestrecthed first, also has a slight phaser on it.
Then to get the choppyness effect, you can manually cut the timestretched sample into bits to hit the bassline at 1/8 |
