Live all the way mate! ive used both, and while this is just personal opinion, i reckon theres no real room for improvement in your sound with reason. a reason track will always sound like a reason track. plus theres no audio recording, and youre limited to reasons native synths and nothing else. that being said though if you really like reason you could just rewire it into ableton... _________________ free pro quality vsti preset banks - secondsight.110mb.com |

i can't get my head round ableton live at all. i am a wizz with reason, cubase, acid & used to use hardware sequencers back in the day. fans of ableton boast it's ease of use but i can't even get a few basic loops going in it, let alone automate synths & write a track.
maybe ableton fans could post some getting started tutorials??? i wouldn't mind having a go at it.
it's good to make tracks in a few different packages that way u can reap the benefits they all have to offer. if your budget is tight you can get lite & demo versions then decide. |

the other thing good with ableton is that you can mix live with it too. doing your own edits live etc etc... most people would probably know that but for people that dont have ableton experience or sumfin thats just an interesting fact i thort i mite add _________________ "Yeh, I'm a club head. hey timewaster ive done some pretty simple tutorials on my website for ableton - http://secondsight.110mb.com they should help a little
its really easy though, its just a different workflow than the other sequencers... i find things just a little easier to accomplish with ableton actually... _________________ free pro quality vsti preset banks - secondsight.110mb.com |
