Hi there,
This is in regard to a pretty polished and finished track you can listen to @ www.riversend.net.au/hard_midnight.mp3
I like the track except theres a particular bass sound iv always heard but never been able to conjure for myself, probably best exemplified in the (infamous) Justice remix of "We are your Friends" by Simian. Or the TV Rock remix of "The Others" by Dukes Of Windsor. I'm not quite sure how to describe it, its deep but with a hard nosed edge to it.
If anyone has any ideas (i.e. VSTs, settings, filters etc.) on how to create a similiar sound?
