Hi There,

I have a question, how do you verify that the mix you are about to run is good enough? I have had a couple of bad gigs, alot of good ones, but when I try to experiement I fail sometimes.

I have used my family and friends to check the mixes and they like it, but the crowd doesnt. In order to help me choose more correct I came over the web site
{Link removed - refer to posting guidelines} I liked the web site because it was so easy to use and the feedback was great.

I was wondering what others have done to overcome the same problems, and if any one had used the same web site as I had?

Cheers,

MusicLantern

Simple...
Get your mixes onto sites like this where complete strangers can be honest and brutal if need be.Its all about trial and error, luckily for me i have good taste in music so never had that problem wink
Dont rely on friends and family all the time, sometimes they can hold back.Plan the mix...write it out...go over it a few times and see what fits and what doesnt sound right ect.
Sadly ive never been the type to just wing it,ive always planned my mixes as i like to hear the tracks come in right and perfect.
