Hi There,
I have a question, how do you verify that the mix you are about to run is good enough? I have had a couple of bad gigs, alot of good ones, but when I try to experiement I fail sometimes.
I have used my family and friends to check the mixes and they like it, but the crowd doesnt. In order to help me choose more correct I came over the web site
{Link removed - refer to posting guidelines} I liked the web site because it was so easy to use and the feedback was great.
I was wondering what others have done to overcome the same problems, and if any one had used the same web site as I had?
Cheers,

Simple...
Get your mixes onto sites like this where complete strangers can be honest and brutal if need be.Its all about trial and error, luckily for me i have good taste in music so never had that problem
Dont rely on friends and family all the time, sometimes they can hold back.Plan the mix...write it out...go over it a few times and see what fits and what doesnt sound right ect.
Sadly ive never been the type to just wing it,ive always planned my mixes as i like to hear the tracks come in right and perfect. _________________ Back In Business! |
