How compatable are Logic Pro/Cubase 4 to itunes?

What's the purpose of compatabilty for Logic Pro/Cubase 4 & itunes? im either getting old or i have missed something.

Just wondered whether it was easy to pull tracks out of your itunes library and into your sequencing software or if you just use the original file. I'm looking to buy either cubase or logic and it's been years since I used tis stuff (since I was in the band) so not sure exactly of their capabilities till I start using them... more daft questions to follow wink

i wouldn't want to import from Itunes simply because of fidelity reasons.

For Real ..... Not to mention the digital right's bullshit of a headache... mp3's no good for production, and what in gods name would you be pulling out of itunes to rip off?
