Just trying to make some tracks on Reason 4.0.

having problems with the Drum Machine, I can make some pretty nice ones that i really like, but i can't seem to record them onto my track. Think

Have you tried right clicking and then doing copy pattern to track. I presume you are using the Redrum Machine and want to get the patterns recorded to your arrangement screen at the bottom. Just set the left and right locators and then right click on the actual drum machine itself (not on a button) and put copy pattern to track. Each bar should then fill the space between the locators.

Or are you talking about realtime recording while you play and press record. Make sure that the track is activated with the circle button.

hmm ok, well i'll try both, i've just clicked the record button at the bottom of the page but i havn't clicked the round record button on the actual lane itself, so i might try that, failing that i'll try the copy track method.

i'll repost the results.

also found out how to work the matrix too, so thats pretty cool.
