I have never worked MIDI before, always analogue. Now that I have finally purchased Cubase SX I can't seem to work out how to get it to work. I bought a MIDI Interface USB and own a Roland W-30 Workstation. No MIDI THru cable or so.
Help, I can't seem to get it to work! |

assuming ur keyboard has 2 midi ports, 1 in and 1 out do the following.
keyboard>midi out TO usb Midi in
Keyboard>midi in TO usb Midi Out.
When you open cubase, create midi track, make sure the correct midi ins/outs are availiable select the correct ones, play midi. If this is working you will see midi in/out signals on the transport panel _ red & Green.
hope this helps, if not, u can always get me on msn (lightmagus@hotmail.com)
