This Friday, November 5th, Knowledge magazine will be celebrating its 10th Birthday with a party at Spitz. Spitz is a cosy restaurant, bar and club set inside the Old Spitalfields market, a short walk from Herbal and Liverpool Street Station. Normally catering for a jazz crowd on a Friday night, this venue is ideal for an intimate party where live music can be fully appreciated.
So what have we got for you then?
We are proud to announce that the Lyric Pad human beatboxing champion Faith SFX will be joining us. Killa Kela himself gave us this guys number and says he's the best there is right now- thats a reference and a half!
We are delighted to welcome 11 piece live drum n bass band Diablo Nuffness to our birthday bash, performing live for the very first time- anyone who's heard the Jerona Fruits collective will know 'big tings' are expected, so don't miss your chance to say "I was there!"
Also on a live tip, we welcome L Double, scene stalwart, 1Xtra don and all round decent chap. With him comes London Electricity drummer Chris Polgase, aka The Jungle Drummer, togethor they jam live drums and the DJ sound.
If your good we will also have pass the parcel, musical chairs, and
pin the headphones on the DJ. Grooverider has already rung to say "me first, me first, me first!!"
