I was talkin to this indian guy at work and we got on the topic of dance music and he was telling me since 1998 goa trance has been on the rise in inda. thought id share that with the ones that didnt already no...

I'm sure Indians love Goa trance, I do too!! 
The music has had its roots in the popularity of the Goa state in India in the late 1960s and early 1970s as a hippie mecca, and although musical developments were incorporating elements of industrial music and EBM with the spiritual culture in India throughout the 1980s, the actual Goa Trance style did not officially appear until the early 1990s. With popular artisits such as http://www.infected.co.il/ http://www.goagil.com/ & http://www.astral-projection.com/ pushing it further!
Goa trance is definalty a growing music genra & on the up! Personally i can listen to goa / psy trance music for hours.
