I know this forum is general open to mixed genres, but I wanted to know if it had aparticular direction that more people were into. Judging by the number of posts int he music forums, House seems to dominate. But I get a sense of urban in here too such as DnB/Dubstep and then Hardcore (which techically derives itself from Jungle anyway) kinda stuff.

No particaluar direction of dance music. We try and encourage all types of dance music disscussion. House, DnB & Trance seem to be the main genre's focused on here..

yeah i like it because of the diversity although im not very diverse myself musically  but everyones cool and knobs get fucked off pretty quickly leaving the cream of the crop

I'm into trance, but I don't dig it as much as house, in particularly, electro house. Something i'm starting to like though is Tech House which has that kind of trance feel to it mixed with house.
Ironically, I am releasing a trance track under the name Berry De Cota on MPFS Records in the near future lol.

I'm a house head but I think house tends to go well with most other forms of EDM, DnB especially. I remember hearing Inner City Life for the first time and being blown away by it, I bought Timeless pretty much on the strength of that track and that is one of the only times where I can honestly say I like every track on it.
I'm sorry TL but trance is not my thing, to many kiddies in souped up Corsas round where I live spoil it for me, if you can give me a top 5 trance tunes I promise I will listen to them with an open mind.
