Howdy,
I'm new to this site, so firstly hello all...
I'm writing an article for a soon to be published web-magazine called backdropmagazine. It's related to all things dance/hip-hop/electronica (it's also specifically related to Bristol, UK, but please don't be put off).
The title of the article is "How to get OUT THERE; Beyond the bedroom", and is intended to be a semi-humorous yet informative guide to moving from the bedroom to establishing yourself live.
Does anyone have any opinions/tips or advice on this subject? |

| what if no one will give me a play or link me to a promoter cause given half a chance i'll put the local players to shame in the eyes of all the other dj's. about 8 months ago i won a dj competition and have only had one play since, the dj that came 3rd in the comp is a dj for a local garage crew that get plays everywhere but no one gives me a chance cause i think they feel threatend by my talent!what am i to do? |
