Hi guys, firstly would like to say great site, I've had a look around and theres some excellent advice here.  Ok, my problem is this..I bought a bundle of software from a friend who was moving abroad a while back and it includes some excellent syths like FM7 and music creation software like cubase SX 3, fruity loops, sony sound forge and acid pro. The thing is, I have read all the manuals, went to the tutorials etc. and still can't seem to load up FM7 (not the standalone version) to any of these progs to record the sounds from it. I get as far as loading FM7 onto the progs, configuring the midi in and outputs but still no sound. Basically what I want to do is record what I play as there are some awesome sounds on FM7 as I'm sure many of you will know. I know that describing the process of how to do this will probably be a lengthy one so even if someone could point me in the direction of another thread I could try from there. Thanks a lot in advance, someone out there might just prevent me from going bald due to excessive hair pulling  |
