Hiya...

was just wondering if anyone could recommend to me any hi quality drum sample packages to use in my home studio? I'm a newbie runnin a mac g4 with logic, looking for something a bit vintage and organic sounding as I'd also like to use it as a backing track to help improve my bass playing!

cheers!

Probably the best I can recommend is a dvd I bought from Shit Drum Drups. They do a good line in getting big name drummers (like Keith Leblanc from the Sugarhill Gang, Style Scott from the Roots Radics) and recording them on vintage equipment through an analogue desk. There's some sweet sounds going on there - really authentic and old - and a range of styles - rock, funk, reggae - and they do them in multitrack and sample formats. Far as I know, they work with pretty much all programs.

check them out and have a listen. shitdrumdrups.com. Best package I've bought.

Good luck!

Nice try Hellboy! noticed both johnnie5 & hellboy are posting from the same IP (same Computer). If you want to promote your dvd then pay and we will advertise your products.
