I've now got a Allen & Heath Xone32, my mates got the Xone62, and I can honestly say they're the best mixers I've used, including Pioneer - the sound quality is amazing... but they're not cheap |
Even better than the Pioneer 700 and 800 mate? Those mixers dont look as flash as the Pioneers |
Well when I said better, it depends on what you wanna use your mixer for... I said it was the best mixer i've used cos of the quality of the sound, not cos its flash.
Theres a lad I know up here who dj's at Space in Leeds and he's got a djm 800 set up at home with his cdj1000's and it is an awesome mixer, but it just does too much for me. Most of the effeects you never use and some of them only every now & then.
He can control his deck output going through his laptop and ableton directly from his mixer via midi and watching him do it is pretty amazing. But it costs over a grand.
But all I want is a top quality sound and top build quality and thats what you get with Allen & Heath. 3 channels, crossfader, bish bash bosh.
Plus it has the vcf filters which you can have fun with if thats your thing.
