The Heartless Crew
A decade ago The Heartless Crew began taking inspiration from the likes of Buju Banton, R Kelly, Shabba, Det and Brockie, to name but a few. They formed a unique style of their own incorporating their influences.

Pay As You Go Crew
Maxwell D got together with his old friend Carl, Target & Wiley in 1998 and began to DJ at his old station Rinse FM . They called themselves 'The Ladies Hit Squad' and had many ladies ringing up their show every Wednesday. Their rivals on the same station were the infamous 'Pay As You Go Cartel' which consisted of Major Ace, Plague and Slimzee. With all the guys calling their show both crews started to make a name for themselves. The Ladies Hit Squad and Pay As You Go Cartel made "Know We", which became and still is a big club anthem. It was after making this track in November 1999 that they decided it would achive more if they linked both crews together, and Pay As U Go as we know it now was created. |
