| I'm new to all of the production software can someone tell me what the difference is between Cubase SX3 and Abelton Live, basically what both of them do and the similarities and differences and what they would be used for. |

ableton is a production / performace tool you can build a song very quickly by dragging loops and midi files into the session view
cubase sx 3 is more of a traditonal sequncer |
