This didn't happen before till recently, but for some reason, I'm now getting static whenever I move the crossfader on my mixer, even if nothing is playing. When it is playing, sometimes the full sound from the left turntable pops in and out, even when the fader is all the way to the right, or somewhere on the right hand side of the fader, when it's suppose to be just partial (or no sound if all the way to the right) until it reaches the middle to the left hand side. The static is really annoying, and I would really appreciate any solutions if available. Thanks in advance.

probably becuase its old and worn not many have an unlimited lifetime

u may need to send it in for a service or just buy a new one

but try blowing down it and vacumming to get the dust out which always gets in and sometimes wd40 works but i wudnt advise that to much unless u dont care about ur mixer much - if u want it to last a long time just get it serviced its not to much Very Happy

I had this mixer since April '05, but I'll give these solutions a try, starting with a Vacume
