so i go to record today so i can post and let you guys here it. now for some reason i cant record. i just recorded something last week now for some reason it is not recording. i have a really cheap setup i have rca cables coming from the rec output of my mixer. then i have the other end of the rca cables plugged into a little converter which allows me to plug into the mic input on my laptop but for some reason it will not work Wall Wall Wall Wall Wall Wall Wall Wall Wall Wall Wall Wall Wall Wall Wall Wall Wall Wall Wall Wall Wall Wall Wall Wall Wall Wall Wall Wall Wall Wall Wall Wall Wall Wall Wall Wall Wall Wall Wall Wall Wall Wall Wall Wall Wall Wall Wall Wall Wall Wall Wall

do u have a direct line input on you laptop? if you do try using that. do you have some sort of interphase or external sound card like an M-Audio unit or Lexicon Omega etc..?

I had this problem as well mate, turned out to be the snidey pre loaded software I was using.

Downloaded new software and it's all good! Very Happy

i plug it straight into the mic jack on my old ass lap top. what kind of interphase should i get.

ahhh theres heaps ay.. all just about the same. check out the M-Audio stuff. i use a Lexicon Omega but theres other Lexicon products also. i just cant think of any rite now but if you check them out im sure one thing will lead to another. if i come across what im actually tryin to think of ill let ya no Very Happy

what I do is just plug my laptop into the wall and plug in a mic to my computer and hit record on some sorta recording program I got going on my laptop and just play my tunes Very Happy
