Firefly has had seven years of infamy in the Midlands for consistently throwing one of the best club nights in the UK. This has lead to creating a dedicated Firefly following who know and trust the brand and the quality of dance music that it represents .
With guests having ranged from Dave Clarke, Adam Freeland, Alter Ego, Hot Chip, Derrick Carter, Plump DJs, Audiobullys, Justice, Digitalism, Jeff Mills, Derrick May, Francois k, MANDY, Stanton Warriors, Bookashade, the music policy has always been based firstly around quality taking in techno, house, breaks, minimal, electro and anything else that really makes your booty shake. This is one of the reasons why DJs love to play here as they don't have to stick rigidly to a particular genre. A true love of music underpins everything that we do which is why Firefly has a crowd that doesn't want to leave and a reputation for throwing parties definitely not to be missed.
Firefly Recordings was created out of the same passion for dance music as the events. The label takes in house, techno, minimal and electro and the best shades in between them all. The most exciting music often comes from where the margins of existing styles meet and then blur. The label has music that we love and believe in and that we know will move a dance floor.

Max Hedroon - Mousey
Max Hedroom, a.k.a Max Cooper and Raw Hedroom (Gareth Williams), cover many musical bases in their live work- all with their trademark of advanced audio manipulation. Indeed, they are pioneers in this area and both are always looking for ways to innovate both sound and technology. Expect nothing less then with their latest release 'Mousey', showing that they can blow up a dancefloor in whatever style they choose. In the studio or in the club, these guys are the business.
Craig Sylvester - Gobshites have feelings too
Craig Sylvester is a talented young musician. Many of you will be familiar with his previous collaborative productions as Tolfrey and Sylvester, which includes a remix of 'geht nocht' and 'the horn'. With tracks already on Damian Lazarus' label and championed by Fergie amongst many others, Craig is a producer to watch. He truly has a unique talent for making quality dancefloor music as individual as he is himself. (If you've ever met him that statement makes perfect sense!) 'Gobshites have feelings too' marks the official start of his career as a solo artist and we at Firefly firmly believe it's been worth the wait. It's a cheeky big room track that's just as at home being played at either end of the night. Prepare yourself for some future classics.
Max Cooper - FRANK
Max Cooper is one of the original Firefly Residents and is a highly accomplished DJ, either by himself or as one half of Thrashjelly. He's currently making a name for himself as a producer too, gaining more support with every release he puts out. When you hear his music though it's clear why things are happening for him. We are lucky enough to be releasing one of his strongest tracks to date, 'FRANK'. It's a brooding club release that's got 'tune' written all over it- we're sure you'll love it. Expect to hear 'FRANK' on a dancefloor near you.
