Breakin Even Records 007 – Neztic – Sonidero (DIGITAL)
Manuel Neztic returns to the Breakin Even label after the massive success of Breakin Even 005 ‘Aerosoul’.
The man from Mexico is really starting to make a big name for himself within the breaks scene with outstanding production work and taking a real intelligent musical approach to his breakbeats. Sonidero tricks you into thinking its gonna be a nice chilled track until the sub bass kicks in that is, serious B-Line action once again. Sonidero is a seriously heavy, phat beat monster kick ass track that is sure to continue Manuel’s rapid rise to breaks stardom. Massive support on this one from just about every main man and women in the scene. Big ups to all that are on this one.
Ben and Lex continue to do no wrong and work the remix with more of an electronic sounding approach with a breakdown that will blow the roof off clubs all over the uk we’re sure of that.

Even Flow Recordings 005 – MESMER – Le Food Feud (DIGITAL)
Le Food Feud is the 5th release on Even Flow Recordings and this time we bring you a new artist from Romania. Mesmer, hailing from Bucharest, 26 year old Mesmer has been involved in the ever growing breakbeat scene in Romania since 1996.
‘Le Feud Food’ is a deep, haunting breaks tune which oozes elegance, in a similar vein to Ils its got a real warm vibe, a speaker trembling sub bass and punchy beats that roll along sweetly, this track takes you on an epic journey, a slightly different flavour to previous Even Flow tunes but still a sure fire winner.
Manuel Neztic has made a real name for himself recently with his recent 'Aerosoul' tune, this time he steps up for remix duties and my word what a belter!! Instantly recognizable 'Neztic' beats start the track as it seems to go down the deep route, but then the phat butt shakin b-line kicks in. A superb tune for the clubs.
Label boss Rob Savage lays down a cool 'back to mine' stylee remix, keeping the deepness by adding some great vocals, live guitars and harmonica that compliments the track really well. Lush.
Mesmers style is a tight blend of psychedelic, electro and funk induced sounds. Mesmer first gained regional recognition in 1998 when he took home first prize in the Electronic Music Division of the New Talent Festival held by Assos Music, a national music competition. Soon after, he began fielding requests to DJ at major festivals throughout the country. He also began expanding his reach into the production side of music and took to building his studio. The labels Roton and Skills Recordings were the first to sign his material in 2004. Since then he’s received remix assignments from local artists Vali Barbulescu and Activ. He continues pounding out original works on a weekly basis. Mesmer is now recognised as being one of the breakbeat pioneers in Romania, managing to create his own recognisable style of a tight blend of psychedelic, electro and funk induced sounds.
